Student Technology
As a benefit of enrollment in Collier County Public Schools, all students in grades K-12 are provided a laptop for use during the school year. During the summer months, high school students (except graduating seniors) will maintain their laptops, while all other grade levels will return devices prior to the last day of school. Students participating in Summer School will be provided a temporary device for use during summer programming.
Tips for Maintaining District-Provided Laptops
- Do not leave the laptop continuously plugged into the charger. A charge overnight is most appropriate.
- Securely store the laptop when not in use, avoiding extremely hot temperatures in vehicles.
- Carry the laptop in a plastic, waterproof bag in the event of rain.
- Browse safely and responsibly at all times. Rules of use apply whether on or off campus.
